Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to support plant operations. This is a physically demanding role involving tire loading/unloading, assisting with machinery, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload tires of all sizes, including passenger, truck, and tractor tires
- Assist with plant operations such as machine operation and tire granulation
- Perform general labor duties including cleanup and material handling
- Follow all company safety procedures and standards
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance
Qualifications & Skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (more with assistance)
- Capable of handling high-volume work (up to 1,200+ tires per day)
- Physically able to climb in and out of trailers safely without assistance
- Comfortable performing heavy manual labor in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Forklift experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong work ethic and dependability
