Once You Are Here, You Will: Lead Quality Engineers across multiple teams to ensure consistency, adherence to best practices, an Automation-First approach, and enforcement of team working agreements such as the Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD). Lead the discovery (Current state) and Documentation that will produce 5 deliverables: Enterprise Testing Strategy QE Handbook Automation Handbook Perf Engineering Handbook Test Enablers Evaluate and maintain the testing strategies, approaches, tools and frameworks used by the teams. Design, develop and execute test automation frameworks and test automation suites. Provide regular quality and status reports. Participate in project-wide reviews of requirements, system architecture and detailed design documents. Act as key point of contact for other Quality Engineers across multiple teams. Identify and resolve issues that arise when integrating the application software with other software components. Mentor and guide other Quality Engineers on the QA Process, the testing strategy, tools and frameworks being used and assist them in growing their careers. Conduct regular performance reviews and conduct interviews. Basic Qualifications: 1+ year experience leading Quality Engineers 7+ years' experience overall working with distributed/remote agile product development teams. 7+ years' experience in software testing and writing software testing automation in one or more of the following: Java, C# and/or JavaScript/TypeScript. 7+ years' experience in one or more of the following: planning, designing, and implementing testing strategies and automation infrastructure for large scale system software. Must have QA/QE Knowledge and experience including Test Phases/Types Test Data Test Environments Automation Performance test Must have working experience in TDD/BDD. Test Management Tools Developed Test Strategy/Test Plan documents – Enterprise Level programs Preferred Skills: Provide thought leadership towards the future state of Automation and Performance engineering Must be able to document detail processes and procedures for QA/QE Develop and execute process improvements for the QA team using standard templates, process definitions and best practices. Define various reports which tell the QA/QE story on progress/issues/action plans Understanding best QA/QE best practices and document them Deliver high quality deliverables on time for client consumption including training ready documents Must be able to research on QA/QE topics – by talking to Client and various testing sourcesFirst-hand experience executing load, stress, API and database tests using enterprise level test automation tools. An expert in at least one test automation framework, such as Selenium, Tosca, Playwright, TestComplete, SpecFlow, or similar – mobile test automation is a plus. A deep understanding and real-word experience building automated test suites following Behavior-Driven Design (BDD). Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in fast-growing environment. Curious, resourceful and eager to tackle new challenges. Strong organizational skills. The starting pay range for this remote role is $122,700.00-$255,600.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
