Entry Phlebotomist High level of customer service experience/skills are required - this is critical to the heart of the role. Job Description The Entry PSR I/Lobby Experience Coordinator (LEC) helps with patient care by greeting them upon arrival and answering any questions or concerns with care and compassion. The individual will also help maintain the integrity of the waiting area and assist with breaks when other Phlebotomists are unavailable. This individual will also utilize Phlebotomy skills to grow within the company. The ENTRY PSR I has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining what to expect to patients regarding the scheduled procedure for the patients in a safe and accurate manner. The ENTRY PSR I will demonstrate excellence in customer care while focusing on process skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy of patient information. The impact of this individual will be crucial to maintaining the integrity of the lobby and ensuring that all patients are provided with the level of service that is expected. Job Requirements Ability to handle patients with care and compassion while assisting with check‑ins in the lobby through a self‑service kiosk or handheld tablet. Willingness to work both in the lobby and in a draw room with patients to help with breaks that need to be covered. Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures. High level of customer service experience/skills. Required Education High school diploma or equivalent required - no exceptions. Phlebotomy experience required, even if just an internship/externship to learn the basics. Work Experience Minimum of 1–2 years of client‑facing customer service experience (e.g., retail, home health aide). Some phlebotomy experience required. Keyboard/data‑entry experience a must. Primary role is a lobby greeter position to help patients check in at the kiosk and to help them feel comfortable waiting to be called for their labs.
