Lactation Consultant

Job Description: Full-time M-F (8am-4:30pm) with one Saturday a month Brief Description Full-time M-F (8am-4:30pm) with one Saturday a month Clarion OB Department Responsibilities: Provide inpatient and outpatient lactation support and conduct newborn weight checks Teach childbirth and breastfeeding education classes one Saturday per month with a flex day off Qualifications: RN Preferred Current Certified Breastfeeding Specialist (CBS) credential at hire BLS and AVADE certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire Requires NRP, PALS and ACLS or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) preferred; required within3-5 years of hire Provided Benefits IPERS Short-Term Disability (Employer Paid Coverage)—New York Life Basic Life and AD&D Insurance (Employer Paid Coverage)—New York Life Employee Assistance Program—Connections Access to professional services to help you deal with the following, but not limited to, financial, drug/alcohol or grief.
