Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role located in Columbia, MO. The Salesperson will actively prospect and follow up with residential and commercial leads, conduct site visits, and prepare accurate service estimates and proposals. Daily responsibilities include meeting with potential customers, explaining lawn care and landscaping service options, and recommending solutions that align with customer needs and budgets. The role also involves maintaining a pipeline of opportunities in the CRM, coordinating with operations to schedule and deliver services, and ensuring a smooth handoff from sales to service teams. The Salesperson is expected to build long-term customer relationships, respond promptly to inquiries, and contribute to revenue growth and customer retention. Qualifications Sales and customer relationship skills, including prospecting, lead follow-up, and consultative selling. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to clearly explain services and build trust with residential and commercial customers. Basic knowledge of lawn care, landscaping, or outdoor property services, or willingness to learn industry practices and terminology. Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple appointments, proposals, and follow-ups efficiently. Comfort using CRM or similar tools for tracking leads, preparing quotes, and documenting customer interactions. Valid driver's license. Reliable transportation will be provided for visiting customer properties in Mid-Missouri. Ability to work on-site, collaborate closely with operations teams, and adapt to seasonal demands.
