Companions / Babysitters - Part-Time and Full-Time Opportunities
At SYNERGY HomeCare of Teaneck, we're seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Companions / Babysitters. As a Home Health Aid, you will work directly with patients in their homes, providing personalized care and attention. If you have a big heart and a commitment to creating a healthy environment, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles.
- Provide care for patients, including changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care.
- Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor.
- Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert.
- Give medication reminders.
- Engage patients in exercises or other activities.

Qualifications:
- Available from Mondays - Thursday 9 AM to 5 PM
- Prior experience in Dementia Care is a plus
- High School Diploma or GED
- One-year prior professional experience
- Driver's license required
- CPR certification preferred
