This position is an onsite role in Aurora, CO, Dulles, VA or State College, PAWhat You Will DoArchitect and develop software for cutting edge satellite ground systems.Evolve the current software and system architecture to support customer defined requirements.Provide software engineering expertise for bids on future development activities.Guide the full software lifecycle including design, development, test, delivery, and maintenance.Foster modern DevSecOps development practices and utilize Agile processes.What You Will LearnA breadth of advanced software technologies and techniques including multi-tiered architectures, AWS web services, and microservice software design.Modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques.Software lifecycle practices for defense projects.Satellite ground system technologies.Qualifications You Must HaveA Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 10 years of prior relevant experienceExperience designing and developing object-oriented software using Java.Experience with Java multi-threading.Experience with microservices in cloud environments.Experience developing planning & scheduling software or similar software systems.An active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
