Production Planner II

As a Production Planner II here at Honeywell, you will be supporting globally across the supply chain network to gather and manage information about our businesses' capacity to meet customer demand. In this role, you will support and improve the supply chain planning & execution process within the business. You will create and maintain a valid master schedule for material and capacity by effectively balancing supply and demand. You will ensure emerging program master production schedules are executable and material resource planning profiles are complete. As the Master Scheduler, you will lead the activities related to the purchase of material, material planning, production planning, inventory control, and shipping/receiving. You will support work autonomously to achieve organizational objectives and drive functional excellence and continuous improvement. You will collaborate among global cross-functional teams to support complex projects. Responsibilities Fulfill demand requirements by examining Material Requirements Planning (MRP) indications Communicate material availability to procurement and ensure that need dates are met to release production orders Maintain configuration and serial control of production hardware Ensures the generation of pick lists, packing slips, and other shipping documents as required Flag and communicate production problems Responsible for requesting Customer Source Inspection (CSI) of hardware shipments Assure that planning data items are properly maintained in SAP, and are compatible with applicable program plans and schedules Support production programs by working with the program managers and production leads Collaborate in team meetings and activities Participate in safety training and actively comply with safety policies and practices Must Have High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 3 years of experience in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) in a manufacturing environment This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws.
