Senior Associate - Originations

J.J. Astor provides bridge financing to private and public companies looking to accelerate growth. This is a relationship-driven origination role: you'll spend most of your time in direct contact with business owners and C-level executives, building the relationships that turn into deals — and carrying those deals from first conversation to term sheet. The candidate will also be responsible for financial analysis, qualifying deals and working with the companies to get to a term sheet. Responsibilities Identify and reach out to C-level executives at private and public companies, opening relationships via phone, email, and conferences. Build and own a pipeline of prospective borrowers, growing it through consistent relationship development. Qualify and analyze deals against J.J. Astor's investment criteria. Partner with the underwriting team to move deals through diligence. Work with the investment and senior management teams to evaluate, structure, and execute deals. Qualifications 3–6 years in business development, sales, or origination. Background working at bank, specialty lender, or online lending platform preferred. Comfort analyzing financials and qualifying deals independently. Track record (or clear drive) in a fast-paced, target-driven sales environment. Strong communication skills and credibility with senior executives. Genuine interest in capital markets, lending, and private company finance. Bachelor's degree. #J-18808-Ljbffr JJ Astor and Co
