Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Travel Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit in Alton, IL. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about critical care and looking for an exciting travel assignment. Key Responsibilities of the RN ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Travel
- Provide care for critically ill patients in a 12-bed ICU setting
- Titrate drips including paralytics, sedatives, and other common ICU medications
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Utilize EPIC for accurate and effective documentation
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and communicate significant changes effectively
- Adapt to floating to Med Surg units as needed
Requirements of the RN ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Travel
- Active IL nursing license or initiation of the application process
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA)
- Experience in an Intensive Care Unit or similar acute care setting
