Accountant

Under general direction, perform a variety of increasingly complex and technical duties related to the District’s facilities planning and construction program; Scope of services to include, but are not limited to: Apply basic accounting principles related to accounts payable including account coding and internal controls. Review, correct, and re‑route invoices. Work with our third‑party vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies. Review, correct, and re‑route of A/P document. Laws and regulations related to Bond and State accounting Review and analyze budget expenditure reports for state funded facilities programs for compliance and accuracy Prepare accruals for year‐end closing Process invoices.
