Fort Washington Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Unit Support Coordinator for our Emergency Room who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.


As a Unit Support Coordinator, you will:
•Support departmental operations by providing effective and timely communications, maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work environment, maintaining data and related records, and performing clerical and other support services as directed.
• Responsible for processing physician orders, communication, and other general duties.

Qualifications include:
• High school diploma / GED
• At least 6 months experience working in a hospital or doctor’s office.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Proficient in PC, Internet, and email required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Training in data entry of clinical systems preferred.

Work Schedule:

• Employment Type: Full-time

• Hours per Week: 36 hrs/week

• Shift Type: Night

• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend rotation

• Holiday Requirements: Rotating

Pay Range:

$18.80 - $24.18

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
