Warehouse worker responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: maintaining a safe work environment with zero Environmental, Health and Safety incidences, shipping finished product in a timely manner that meets all customer and regulatory requirements, receiving raw materials in accordance with site procedures, and maintaining accurate warehouse inventories.

Temporary position

$ 19.00 / hour

Full Time and Part Time work available

First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 04:00pm)

Receives incoming deliveries through Verification method, then enters Goods Receipt into SAP. Maintains Warehouse inventory and orders Supplies when stock is below required inventory levels. Pulls raw material inventory and stages in appropriate location through WAR forms. Returns unused inventory, from Operations, to warehouse. Partial drums are weighed and recorded prior to placement in Storage Location. Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintains DOT certification to ship Hazardous Materials. Ensures shipments meet DOT requirements (Shipping Papers accurate and complete, Placarding, Labeling, Package Closure, etc.). Creates shipping documents (Delivery Note, Verification Checklist and Bill of Lading) through SAP. Completes shipments through Verification process: pulling materials; verifying order requirements; loading orders into shipping container/trailer. Performs review of package closure instructions prior to preparing packages for shipments. Actively participates in all Warehouse meetings.

Prior OSHA Hazmat training · Prior Forklift training · SAP Shipping and Delivery training · DOT, IMDG or IATA certification to ship Hazardous Material · Prior experience in an industrial warehouse or in manufacturing · Prior Inventory management experience
