About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med-Surg Adult Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience required. License: Active RN license required. Certifications: Current BLS certification required. Must-Have: Current proficiency in Epic EMR required. Description: The registered nurse will primarily work on a respiratory unit. This unit admits patients with respiratory issues. Occasional floating between various med-surg units may be required. This includes wound care, stroke, oncology, cardiac, observation, and ED/med-surg boarders. The nurse will work 36 hours per week. The shift will be from 7 PM to 7:30 AM with every other weekend required. There is no call requirement associated with this position. The registered nurse must be able to read telemetry and will be tested on this skill on the first day. Failure to pass the competency assessment will result in termination. It will also lead to termination if proficiency in Epic is not demonstrated. All requested time off must be disclosed during the application process. Hours are not guaranteed and may be subject to change.
