Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

RN – Progressive Care

Schedule: - Staffing ratio: 1:5 (days / nights / weekends) - Weekend requirement: Minimum of 8 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Assignment Details: - Contract Length: 13 weeks - Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per week

Requirements: - License: Missouri or Compact required (travelers may need both Kansas and Missouri licenses) - Certifications: BLS, NIHSS; ACLS preferred - Years of experience: 1–2 years (first-time travelers accepted)

Roles & Responsibilities: - Provide nursing care to adults and geriatric patients in progressive care unit settings. - Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, conducting assessments and implementing care plans. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and manage patient care activities. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Compliance / Notes: - Orientation: 12 hours - RTO: Maximum of 7 days allowed - Local rule: Candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility.
