Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)

Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Valid license in hand required Certifications: BLS, National Certification (NBSTSA) required Must-Have: Robot experience required Call required No weekends Description: CST positions for day shift available. First-time travelers accepted. BLS and National Certification (NBSTSA) required at the time of submission. NCCT certification not accepted. Call is required. No weekend work is expected. Skills: Experience in a variety of surgical procedures including, but not limited to: Abdominal hysterectomy Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion Ambulatory OR procedures Ankle fusion Anterior cervical fusion ACL reconstruction Robotic surgery procedures Cholecystectomy Laparoscopic procedures Hernia repairs Total hip and knee replacements Prostatectomy Urologic surgeries Additional Information: Patient demographics include adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily case volume averages 30. The facility is equipped with various surgical technologies. Interdisciplinary support is available from multiple services. Travelers may need to float to like units as needed. Brief orientation will be provided.
