Licensed Practical Nurse Homecare

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our homecare team. In this role, you will perform a variety of delegated nursing tasks and provide essential patient care within your scope of practice, under the guidance of registered nurses, licensed physicians, and other healthcare professionals. Shift Details Coverage on weekends: Saturday/Sunday 8AM–8PM, flexible start times and hours. Every other weekend also an option. Location Las Vegas Area Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage. PEAK program offers up‑front tuition coverage for caregivers. Minimum Qualifications Current LPN license in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Approved IV certification, as required by facility. Clean driving record (if required by facility). Ability to connect to company’s online database twice daily (if required by facility). Will enroll and complete RN within four years for LPNs hired into hospital departments (excluding long‑term care or behavioral health settings). Patient Care Responsibilities Supports the admission and check‑in process. Assists patients and families to understand routines, rights, and care setting. Helps complete necessary forms and documentation. Collects and records essential assessment data: vital signs, height, weight, medication history, and billing details. Identifies and responds to patient pain or discomfort. Assists patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote comfort and independence. Prepares patients for medical or surgical interventions. Performs interventions within the LPN Scope of Practice. Supports physicians and licensed independent practitioners with treatments and procedures. Obtains and tracks laboratory specimens (e.g., venipunctures, stool, urine) for analysis. Prepares, administers, and manages medications (oral, IM, SQ, rectal, intradermal) in accordance with protocols. Helps maintain supplies and ensures proper stocking and organization. Physical Requirements Ongoing need to see and read information, labels, and assess patient needs. Frequent verbal communication with patients and providers during emergencies. Manual dexterity to manipulate equipment with precision. Frequent computer use and typing for documentation. Ability to lift, move, and transfer patients and supplies, including heavy items. Walking and assisting with patient ambulation and transportation. Driving: ability to sit, see, read signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.
