Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ER) – Epic Backfill

Duration: 8 Weeks
Shift: Variable (12-hour shifts)
Hours: Typically 36–48 Hours/Week (based on facility needs)
Pay Rate: $58 – $60/hr

Provide direct and coordinated nursing care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process. Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment while ensuring accurate documentation in Epic EMR. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to stabilize, treat, and manage emergency patients.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (CA or Compact) required

• Current Epic EMR experience required

• Minimum 1–2 years Emergency Department experience preferred

• Ability to work variable 12-hour shifts (days/nights/weekends)

• Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills

• Ability to function in a high-acuity, fast-paced ED setting

• Must meet hospital credentialing requirements

• BLS – Required

• ACLS – Preferred/May be required depending on unit need

• PALS – Preferred (if pediatric exposure involved)

• Acute Care Hospital – Emergency Department
