The RN ensures care is delivered safely and effectively according to physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards. The RN collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to promote resident health, comfort, and well-being.Reporting: This position reports directly to the Director of Nursing and collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess residents’ physical and mental health status and develop individualized care plans.Administer medications and treatments safely according to physician orders and facility protocols.Monitor, record, and communicate changes in residents’ conditions to the care team.Educate residents and families on care plans, health management, and preventive strategies.Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and resident care conferences.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care, interventions, and outcomes.Ensure compliance with infection control practices, safety standards, and resident rights.Provide mentorship and guidance to licensed and unlicensed nursing staff.Participate in facility quality improvement initiatives, in-services, and continuing education programs.Education and License RequirementsGraduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing).Current, active Washington State RN license.ExperienceExperience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.Qualifications and SkillsStrong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.Ability to follow care plans, collaborate with team members, and provide resident-centered care.Compassionate, patient, and committed to quality resident care.Physical ability to safely assist residents and perform nursing duties including lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.Working ConditionsSkilled Nursing Facility environment with direct interaction with residents, staff, and visitors.May involve walking, standing, lifting, and exposure to bodily fluids and infectious materials.Must be able to cope with the stresses of working in a 24-hour care environment serving elderly and medically complex residents.How to Apply: Click Apply and complete the online application form.Please ensure you:Answer all application questionsUpload your professional license and any relevant documentsWe look forward to reviewing your application!Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr Bellevue Post Acute
