What you will do Promote Sage Products to nurses/clinicians and appropriate hospital staff while providing excellent customer service and developing customer relationships. Follow extensive product training, to be able to tailor promotional messages based upon knowledge of the customer, advice on appropriate product selection, answer customer questions about product functionality and distinguish Sage’s products from competitors. Assist in hospital surveys as well as post-sale implementation and training including ensuring customer adoption and satisfaction. Focus on customer satisfaction by demonstrating teamwork and empowerment, solving problems through a consultative approach, operating with honesty and integrity and providing a highly responsive and unsurpassed level of customer service. Assist in preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions and clinical meetings. Understand and adhere to all facility protocols and pertinent OSHA guidelines when conducting product evaluation. Driven to solve real problems and make healthcare better for our customers and the patients they serve. What you need Bachelor’s degree required. 0-2 years professional experience. Excellent time management, project management, experience with reports and budget, and customer service skills. Must possess valid driver license in the state of residence and a good driving record. Physical Requirements At times, may be required to move, set up and demonstrate products weighing up to 50 pounds - reach, push, or pull in order to accomplish job accountabilities. May involve prolonged periods of stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, and/or crawling as appropriate. Coordination of the eye, hand and foot movement with an ability to grasp by hand and meet cognitive demands to include visual and auditory discrimination / memory, reading ability and memory retention. May handle various materials including but limited to: durcot fabric, nylon fabric, Velcro, zippers, product components comprised of rubber, metals and coated products. Mental Requirements Strong interpersonal communication skills specifically relating to stress management, people management and conflict management. Exercise discretion and independence when applying professional expertise. Must be able to possess written and oral communication / present to large groups of people. Must be able to manage time and bring tasks through to completion with minimal supervision. Must have the ability to prioritize work and keep detailed and confidential records. Must possess unwavering ethics & integrity in a competitive and demanding work environment. Excellent customer service skills. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility.
