Assistant/Associate/Full Clinical Professor, Non-Malignant Hematology

Position Overview Assistant/Associate/Full Clinical Professor, Non‑Malignant Hematology in the Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. The Division of Hematology/Oncology seeks faculty whose clinical, teaching, and translational research activities focus on non‑malignant (classical) hematology. Candidates should develop a clinical research program in an area of their interest and will be expected to contribute to the division’s teaching and training of fellows, residents, and medical students, as well as to clinical activities on the hematology consultation service and the outpatient non‑malignant hematology clinic. Fellowship training in non‑malignant hematology is required. Responsibilities Participate in teaching and training of Hematology and Oncology fellows, residents, and medical students. Provide clinical care on the hematology consultation service and in the outpatient non‑malignant hematology clinic. Develop and conduct a clinical research program in an area aligned with section goals. Contribute to the division’s annual retreat and interdisciplinary research initiatives. Qualifications Fellowship training in non‑malignant hematology. ABIM eligibility or certification in Hematology. Strong record of peer‑reviewed funding and research publications. Experience in teaching and clinical care of patients with non‑malignant hematologic disorders. Salary and Benefits The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. The minimum base salary range for this position is $127,000–$333,700. This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, providing eligibility for additional compensation. UCSF offers excellent support for junior faculty to develop their careers.
