Position: Packaging Operator
Location: Mebane, NC 27302 (On-site)
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM (overtime as needed)
Job Type: Temporary (possible contract-to-hire based on performance)
Openings: 4

Position Overview

We’re hiring  Packaging Operators to support the manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products. This role requires strong attention to detail, comfort with documentation, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-focused manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manually inspect, label, and package finished products
• Ensure packaging meets procedures and quality specifications
• Inspect packaging/components during production and remove defective items
• Complete accurate documentation (device history records, inventory counts, batch records)
• Perform basic math calculations as needed
• Assist with inventory counting activities
• Participate in safety audits and daily safety discussions/observations
• Clean packaging stations and equipment routinely
• Follow PPE and contamination control/gowning requirements
• Handle hazardous waste appropriately (as required)

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 6 months of industry/manufacturing work experience
• Strong attention to detail and good documentation practices
• Team-oriented with reliable attendance
• Comfortable using computers and basic business software
• Willing and able to work overtime as needed
