Orthopedic Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Location: Overland Park, KS

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM

Job Description: Join our dynamic Orthopedics & Spine Specialty unit located on the 3rd floor of Tower A, featuring 36 private beds. This fast-paced unit specializes in treating orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions such as stroke and head injuries, as well as trauma cases. Our team is equipped to provide high-quality acute care in a busy Level 2 trauma center.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care including wound care and dressing changes.
• Monitor patient health and respond to changing conditions in collaboration with the care team.
• Utilize advanced technology for communication and patient management through the mobile application.
• Ensure compliance with unit policies and maintain high standards of patient privacy.
• Participate in a collaborative team environment to improve overall patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active Kansas RN License.
• BLS certification required.
• Acute care hospital experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry units.
• NIH certification preferred but not required.
