We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical care in an ambulatory or clinic setting in Newport, NH. The RN will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while providing education, treatment, and support to patients and families. This is a permanent, full-time position beginning September 21, 2026, with a day schedule of 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 40 hours per week, and possible extended hours until 7:00 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays. Weekend work is not scheduled, though holiday coverage may be required. There is no on-call requirement. Compensation is $36.27–$50.92 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform face-to-face and telephone patient and family assessments.
• Collect and analyze physical and psychosocial health information.
• Develop and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures and treatments.
• Monitor patient conditions and recognize changes requiring intervention.
• Document assessments, interventions, instructions, and patient responses.
• Provide patient and family education and health counseling.
• Assist clinicians with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Serve as a nursing resource and guide other staff.
• Delegate duties appropriately according to the New Hampshire Nurse Practice Act.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to meet patient needs.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum one year of nursing experience.
• Active New Hampshire RN license; a compact RN license is accepted, and a pending New Hampshire license may be considered.
• AHA BLS certification.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a practice or clinic setting.
