Field Service Technician

Restoration TechnicianWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Restoration Technician to support residential and commercial restoration projects. This role involves performing restoration tasks, monitoring job progress, documenting work, and communicating professionally with customers throughout the restoration process.Key ResponsibilitiesTravel to job sites with the proper equipment and suppliesPerform restoration tasks related to water, fire, smoke, and mold damage, including extraction, demolition, light construction, and contents handlingMonitor drying progress and make adjustments as neededMaintain job quality, safety standards, and productivityCommunicate processes, timelines, and next steps to customers in a professional mannerDocument job progress with notes, photos, and records using mobile devicesInspect completed work, obtain customer approvals, and assist with payment collection when requiredProperly use, maintain, and report issues with tools, equipment, and company vehiclesCommunicate daily job updates, issues, and customer concerns with supervisorsQualificationsPrevious restoration or construction experience preferred but not requiredValid driver's license with a good driving recordStrong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skillsAbility to follow procedures, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a teamComfortable using tablets or mobile devices for documentationWillingness to maintain a professional appearance and follow safety guidelinesIndustry certifications are a plus but not requiredPhysical Requirements & Work EnvironmentAbility to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 70 poundsAbility to stand, walk, bend, crawl, and work in physically demanding conditionsWork may take place indoors and outdoors, in varying temperaturesMust be able to safely wear required personal protective equipment, including respiratorsAdditional InformationThis position description is intended to outline the general nature of the role and may change as business needs require.
