Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring prior ED experience and FL or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department
• Night shift schedule from 18:45-07:15
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required for any holiday falling on a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Cerner EMR

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, PALS, and ACLS (must be AHA)
• TNCC certification required, renewed every 4 years
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Ascension CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) training required, updated every 2 years
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Provide emergency care to patients across a range of acute and critical conditions
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate that varies by state
• Only one submission permitted per candidate system-wide within the Ascension network
