Nutrition Aide (Part-Time)

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in Food Service Preparation in an institutional setting

Responsibilities/Duties:

Prepare food for the children's meals that is delivered by the food service agency. Become familiar with daily classroom routine and Head Start philosophy and mission.

Conditions of Employment: Luzerne County Head Start requires staff to possess current, valid Background Clearances (3) per state/federal laws and regulations. Proof of education and credentials meeting the minimum qualifications of the job.

Hours & Salary: Part Time/10-month school year position- August-June annually, with an established summer break between school years. Work Schedule: 20 hrs/wk (4 hour days, M-F) Pay Rate: $13.99/hr
