This position involves conducting thorough tests and inspections, meticulously documenting results, and actively participating in quality improvement initiatives to uphold and enhance product integrity. Key Responsibilities Conduct Testing and Inspections Perform both routine and specialized tests on raw materials and finished products to verify compliance with company and industry quality standards. Identify and report any deviations from specifications. Document Findings Accurately record inspection and testing results, maintaining detailed logs in accordance with company protocols. Promptly report discrepancies or non-conformities to relevant stakeholders. Support Quality Control Processes Assist in the development, implementation, and refinement of quality control methodologies and procedures. Contribute ideas for process improvements aimed at enhancing product quality and efficiency. Data Collection and Analysis Gather and analyze data from various stages of the production process through physical and visual inspections. Utilize data to identify trends, root causes, and potential areas for improvement. Cross-Departmental Collaboration Work closely with client services, production, and other departments to resolve issues related to samples, assays, or product quality. Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to ensure swift resolution of quality concerns. The salary range for this position is $95,000 to $130,000. (The compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience). Required Skills and Qualifications CWI with at least 1 year of verifiable experience. Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to detect inconsistencies and ensure precision in testing and documentation. Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills to quickly identify, analyze, and address quality issues. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with quality control tools, methodologies, and relevant data management software. Effective Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with team members and other departments. Work Environment Quality Control Technicians typically operate in industrial or construction settings, working with a variety of materials and equipment.
