Critical Care Nurse (ICU/CCU) - 13-week Contract Position Location Hoquiam, WA Schedule Shift: 1845-0715 Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Critical Care Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in the ICU/CCU setting. The ideal candidate will apply scientific nursing principles to deliver individualized nursing care and collaborate with the health care team to implement effective patient care strategies. Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in coordination with the health care team. Prepare and administer prescribed medications, tracking adverse reactions as per nursing protocols. Provide bedside care and basic patient education on managing illness, post-treatment care, and rehabilitation. Record patient medical information and vital signs accurately and timely. Interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions effectively. Assist physicians during examinations and treatments while preparing necessary equipment. Respond to life-saving situations according to established nursing standards and protocols. Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpret electronic displays, and ensure proper functioning of medical devices. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Valid BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association. NIHSS certification. Valid professional nursing license in the state of practice or through nurse licensure compact. Critical care nursing experience in a hospital setting. Verification of suicide training and demographic data via Nursys e-Notify for compact license holders. Proof of right to work in the United States. Why ARMStaffing?
