Faculty - Neurology (General/Headache Specialist)

Job Summary The Department of Neurology seeks a full‑time faculty member with expertise in General Neurology and Headache Medicine to join our team at the KUMC Legacy campus. The role blends clinical care, teaching, and scholarly activities in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Responsibilities Diagnose, treat, and manage patients with general neurological conditions. Provide care in general neurology clinics and, as needed, cover the academic teaching service in the inpatient hospital unit. Supervise, teach, and occasionally lecture to neurology medical students, residents, and fellows, including supervising residents on the inpatient service and in the outpatient clinic. Engage in clinical research, including clinical trials, and contribute to scholarly publications as desired. Required Qualifications Education: M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent. Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in the State of Kansas. Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Neurology. Completion of a neurology residency training program. Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
