Data Scientist II

Job TitleResponsibilitiesResponsible for entering, cleaning, and conducting advanced data manipulation and statistical analysis.Operate in consultation with POTFF program staff and the Government's POTFF biostatistician.Provide subject matter expertise in program evaluation, research methodologies, and data analysis.Provide consultation and assistance to supported units and POTFF staff to identify opportunities and methods for capturing data related to POTFF programs and initiatives.Prepare reports and presentations that accurately convey data trends and associated analysis.Access Government systems to enter and analyze data.QualificationsMaster's or doctoral degree in quantitative science, social science, or related discipline.Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Access.Advanced proficiency with commonly used statistical software applications (e.g., SPSS, SAS, and R).Proficiency demonstrated through employment history in academia or similar research-conducting settings, and a history of scientific publications.Excellent communication skills.Highly detail-oriented and organized.ExperienceAt least three years of research experience in an academic, social services, government, healthcare, or laboratory setting.About Loyal SourceLoyal Source provides healthcare and technology solutions designed to improve outcomes and support mission-critical operations.
