Logistics Lead

Location: Naperville, IL Schedule: Mon–Fri, 12:00pm-8:00pm | Onsite Compensation: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour, plus a $2,000 prepaid card for medical expenses (prorated based on start date) Who We Are We are changing the norm by being customer-focused, technology-led. viaPhoton builds custom-engineered fiber optic solutions that power AI infrastructure, data centers, and 5G networks for some of the biggest names in tech. About the Role You'll oversee shipping and receiving operations that get our products to customers on time. You'll coordinate with production, manage freight carriers, inspect incoming materials, and lead by example in our warehouse. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to keep operations running. Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including stock moves and accurate inventory Work with the production team to prioritize shipments based on customer requirements and production schedules Coordinate with freight carriers and logistics providers to arrange transportation and keep documentation accurate Conduct quality inspections of received materials and flag any discrepancies Prepare shipping documentation including packing lists, labels, RMA, and customs declarations Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow safety standards closely What You'll Bring Have proven experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in manufacturing Can lead and motivate a team on the floor Know shipping regulations, customs procedures, and supply chain logistics Are proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel Can safely operate a pallet jack and other warehouse equipment Are organized with careful attention to detail Want to read the full job description?
