Leads with integrity, fosters a culture of patient-centered care, develops and engages high-performing teams, ensure operational and financial excellence, maintain regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement to achieve organizational goals and exceptional patient outcomes. Provides leadership and direction for a defined business unit and to ensure continuity and consistency across and throughout departments within the business unit. Accountabilities include program/business development, quality of services, short and long range planning directly related to the business unit, to achieve goals and objectives, fiscal control and responsibility to manage revenue and costs, physician and interdepartmental and intradepartmental relations, and personnel management.

Partners as a dyad with physician leadership to ensure the integrated delivery of high-quality services sharing joint accountability for the clinical, operational, financial, and strategic performance of the assigned department, service line, or clinical program. Cultivates physician and provider relationships to both assess needs as well as engage physicians in the design and delivery of services. The dyad model ensures alignment between clinical excellence and operational effectiveness in support of high-quality, patient-centered care.

Essential Job Functions

• Department Specific Essential Functions

Provides strategic and operational leadership for assigned Radiology and Imaging departments and services across Billings Clinic to support safe, high-quality, patient-centered care and alignment with organizational strategic priorities.

Plans, directs, and oversees departmental programs, services, operations, and resources. Establishes goals, objectives, and performance expectations and develops operational and financial plans to achieve established goals.

Collaborates with radiologists, medical staff, clinical and operational leaders, and other departments to coordinate and integrate imaging services and promote effective and efficient use of resources.

Provides leadership through subordinate managers and/or supervisors to ensure effective operations, consistent performance, and accountability across assigned imaging departments and services.

Ensures compliance with regulatory, accreditation, safety, and industry requirements applicable to Radiology and Imaging Services and develops and maintains departmental policies, procedures, and operational standards.

Evaluates operational, clinical, financial, quality, access, and service outcomes and leads initiatives to improve performance, patient access, capacity, workflow, and resource utilization.

Leads planning and evaluation of imaging equipment, technology, and infrastructure, including capital planning, equipment replacement, implementation, and long-range planning to support current and future imaging services.

Identifies and evaluates opportunities for program development, service expansion, and advancement of Radiology and Imaging Services based on organizational priorities, patient and provider needs, industry trends, and available resources.

• Masters Degree Preferred

Experience

• 5-6 years: Successful experience working in leadership role. Experience working in healthcare, preferred.
