Part Time Security Officer in Jackson, TN

Position FLEX Security Officer (Part‑time) Location: Toyota Motor Manufacturing – 301 James Lawrence Rd, Jackson, TN 38301 Hourly pay: $18.00 per hour. Opportunities for up to 30 hours per week. Performance bonus: $100 quarterly perfect attendance bonus. Position details: This is a part‑time assignment requiring weekend and holiday availability, flexible scheduling with little to no advanced notice. Responsibilities Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests promptly and courteously. Manage guest/visitor access, eject trespassers when necessary. Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles. Document and maintain a visitor log, notify residents of arrivals. Protect others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures. Monitor for suspicious behavior to prevent vandalism, theft, or other criminal activity. Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms. Patrol perimeter (interior and exterior) to identify safety and security risks. Warn violators of infractions such as loitering, smoking, or possession of prohibited items. Respond to distress calls, alarms, and emergencies, contacting local first responders. Report safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances promptly. Ensure accurate and timely submission of required documentation. Enforce rules and regulations consistently. Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications At least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent. TN Guard Card preferred, or ability to obtain one. Professional demeanor and appearance. Basic computer skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Minimum of one year customer service or security experience. Must pass pre‑employment screening (background and drug). Physical ability to perform tasks such as crawling, crouching, climbing stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping, and walking for extended periods.
