Executive Director – Premier Senior Living
Tired of being treated like a number on a corporate spreadsheet? I am partnering with an industry-leading, high-end senior living owner-operator seeking an Executive Director for a premier 120+ IL/AL/MC community in San Jose .
Unlike operators that build to flip, this company develops, owns, and operates for the long haul…offering true stability, accessible executive backing, and an unyielding commitment to care. You are stepping into a high-performing (~93% occupancy), well-respected community with a strong team culture where the vacancy is purely due to internal promotion.
The Role: CEO of Your Community
As Executive Director, you are empowered to run the community as its CEO across Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and specialized cognitive programming.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Manage community financials, labor hours, acuity reporting, and P&L metrics with sharp financial acumen.
- Lead from the Floor: Maintain a visible, hands-on presence…engaging directly with residents, families, and staff rather than managing behind a desk.
- Sustain an Exceptional Culture: Inspire and retain a dedicated team while honoring the legacy of trust established with local families.
What It Takes to Lead Here
- The Experience: Proven leadership as an Executive Director in upscale, high-touch senior living communities with strong AL and Memory Care footprints.
- The Credentials: Active California RCFE license required (or immediate willingness to obtain with company support).
- High-Touch Presence: A polished, compassionate communicator who excels when serving high-expectation clientele.
