The Residential Aide plays a critical role in providing compassionate support and supervision to individuals living in residential care settings. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by state regulations.
• Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in residential care or a related human services field.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid.
• Training or coursework in behavioral health, social work, or related disciplines.
• Ability to handle challenging behaviors with patience and professionalism.
• Familiarity with documentation and reporting software used in care settings.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and supervision to residents, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Assist residents with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, medication reminders, and recreational activities.
• Monitor and document residents' behavior, progress, and any incidents, communicating effectively with healthcare professionals and family members.
• Support residents in developing life skills and encourage participation in community and social activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe residential environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
