Contract | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Every 3rd weekend required | Rotating holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in a Level II NICU caring for infants as early as 30 weeks gestation, with patient ratios dependent on acuity (up to 1:2 or 1:3 for feeder/grower patients)
• Attend deliveries and C-sections as the bedside baby nurse, performing newborn admissions and stabilization
• Operate and monitor bubble CPAP and mechanical ventilators in coordination with respiratory therapy
• Titrate and manage drips including IV fluids, TPN, and blood products
• Read and interpret bedside monitor strips independently
• Float to Postpartum on a rare basis if the NICU census is closed; may be placed on standby when patient volumes are low

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Experience in a Level II or higher NICU setting
• Comfortable attending deliveries and C-sections as the primary baby nurse
• Proficiency with bubble CPAP, mechanical ventilators, and titratable drips

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge RN experience in a Level II NICU strongly preferred
• Experience with telehealth neonatology support models
• Familiarity with early gestation patient populations (30–32 weeks) and feeder/grower care
