Property Groundskeeper Maintain the property's grounds, common areas, and exterior appearance to ensure a clean, safe, and attractive community for residents and visitors. Essential Functions Clean and maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities daily. Perform basic landscaping duties, including watering, raking, sweeping, shoveling, and seasonal ice/snow removal. Inspect and replace exterior lighting as needed. Maintain property tools, equipment, and supplies. Respond courteously to resident requests and report safety concerns. Follow OSHA standards and company safety policies. Assist with painting, apartment make-readies, and other maintenance tasks as assigned. Maintain a professional appearance and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred; related groundskeeping or maintenance experience is a plus. Ability to safely operate common landscaping and maintenance tools and equipment. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, communicate effectively, and solve routine maintenance issues. Ability to perform physical work, including walking, bending, climbing, lifting, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. American Communities
