Detects defects or irregularities using ultrasound equipment2. Positions patients and explains procedure.3. Performs quality control functions4. Evaluates ultrasounds for diagnostic quality.5. Prepares and sets up medical supplies using aseptic techniques6. Develops ultrasound film and matches it with the appropriate paperwork for interpretation7. Assists in maintenance and compilation of statistical data8. Provides orientation to new cardiac ultrasound technologists.9. Provides education and training to cardiac ultrasound technology students10.
