Responsibilities:

• Take and record vital signs of patients accurately to assist in clinical assessments.
• Conduct patient intake processes, including gathering medical histories and updating records.
• Support clinicians during patient procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and improve clinical outcomes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment following safety protocols.
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients, families, physicians, and staff to foster a positive patient experience.

Required Skills:

• 1-2 years of recent experience as a medical assistant or clinical medical assistant.
• Strong knowledge of vital signs measurement and patient intake procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on professionalism.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems or similar clinical software.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, to effectively serve diverse patient populations.
• Experience working in a variety of clinical settings or specialties.
• Knowledge of current healthcare regulations and safety standards.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or CERT) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Prior experience in outpatient or primary care clinics is advantageous.

Other Requirements:

• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
• This temporary role is projected to last approximately 2 months.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically moderate tasks.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to healthcare compliance standards.
• Valid CPR certification is preferred or willingness to obtain prior to employment.
