Travel Occupational Therapist

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners! We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate occupational therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a brand-new location.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active state license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC.
• Acute care experience.
• OT certification required for this assignment.
• Alaska state fingerprint and state background must be cleared or in provisional status to start working.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 4 days, 10 hour shifts.
• Hours: 0730-1800.
• Weekend rotation required, including Saturdays and Sundays.
• Weekend requirement: 2-3 weekends per month.
• EMR: EPIC.

Location Highlights

Anchorage offers access to both city amenities and Alaska wilderness, with downtown Anchorage located about 10 minutes from the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail and the Anchorage Museum. Chugach State Park borders the city and provides more than 495,000 acres of hiking and outdoor recreation, while Flattop Mountain is one of the area's most visited trail destinations. The Alaska Railroad and Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport support regional and national travel, and the city's location between Cook Inlet and the Chugach Mountains gives it a balance of urban convenience and outdoor access. Wildlife viewing is common at Potter Marsh and along Turnagain Arm, both within about 20 to 30 minutes of central Anchorage.
