The Lead Restaurant Server safely and efficiently provides excellent customer service with a smile! The employee may direct the work of other servers, delegating tasks and instructing them in proper service and procedures to ensure our guests feel good about their dining experience so that they will tell others and become a loyal customer. The Lead Restaurant Server models guest interaction, assisting in training staff to go out of their way to talk to guests and find out what their needs are before they have to ask.

Responsibilities

This role provides exceptional food and beverage service while also supporting restaurant leadership in the absence of the Restaurant Supervisor. Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking and serving food and beverage orders, providing menu recommendations, anticipating guest needs, and ensuring a welcoming dining experience. The position also assists with training and coaching team members, opening and closing duties, maintaining service stations and dining areas, preparing room service and take-out orders, and following all food, beverage, and responsible alcohol service standards.

Skills Required

• Six months experience as a Restaurant Server, with experience in Guest Services preferred; must be of legal age to serve alcohol; high school diploma and/or equivalent work experience

Experience / Education

• Experience as a Server is preferred; must be of legal age if serving alcohol
