Travel Physical Therapist, Outpatient Orthopedics - $2,280 per week

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapist for a travel job in Huntington Park, California. Responsibilities Provide one‑on‑one outpatient physical therapy, focusing on follow‑up visits and progress tracking for mostly orthopedic patients ranging from teens to geriatrics. Maintain a daily patient load averaging approximately 16 patients, perform follow‑ups and progress reports, and coordinate with designated evaluators and clinic staff. May be required to float or split time to assist coverage at another nearby clinic when needed. Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active California PT license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Clinical experience treating orthopedic conditions preferred. Experience providing one‑on‑one patient care in an outpatient setting preferred. Comfortable treating patients across the lifespan, from adolescents through geriatrics. Ability to perform follow‑up visits and progress reporting; initial evaluations are typically performed by a designated staff PT. Must be hands‑on and able to manage a daily patient load averaging approximately 16 patients. Willingness to float or split time to assist coverage at another nearby clinic when needed is preferred. Preferred Qualifications Prior outpatient clinic experience in a high‑volume environment. Experience with common orthopedic interventions and documentation workflows. Strong communication skills for coordinating with designated evaluators and clinic staff. Assignment Details Duration: 13 weeks. Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8‑hour shifts. Mostly orthopedic caseload; no pelvic or wheelchair‑bound patient population. Possible split to help cover a clinic in the Los Angeles area when needed.
