Join our healthcare partner's team in Rockford, IL, where you'll be a vital part of the Emergency Department, providing exceptional care to patients during evening and night shifts. This role requires a compassionate and skilled RN who can float to the Emergency Department and handle weekend and holiday rotations with ease.

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in patient care
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques
• Document patient care according to standards of care
• Perform assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care
• Develop, initiate, and execute a patient plan of care tailored to individual needs
• Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units in support of patient care
• Utilize critical thinking regarding patient safety and escalate appropriately
• Participate in the professional nursing continuum process and peer review

Requirements:

• Active IL RN Licensure, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and either TNCC or TNS
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; education verification required
• Need 2 years experience in setting
