Key Responsibilities of the RN - PACU - Post Anesthetic Care
- Provide post-anesthesia care for patients recovering from surgery
- Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure their safety
- Administer medications and interventions as per protocols
- Communicate effectively with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and families on post-operative care
Requirements of the RN - PACU - Post Anesthetic Care
- Current RN license in Louisiana
- ACLS certification
- Previous experience in PACU or similar settings
