The position implements continuous program improvement processes, seeks and administers grants and funding sources, and serves as the primary liaison to external agencies on community relationship-building. The Coordinator administers assigned budgets, ensures equitable and effective use of resources and technologies, and supports district and departmental goals and improvement plans. The position builds staff capacity to advance system-wide and departmental initiatives, fosters collaboration across programs, departments, and community organizations, and supervises assigned staff. The Coordinator coordinates and oversees a district and community professional development center on-site. They will support in-person, synchronous, and asynchronous learning and services as needed, participate in district leadership activities, and maintain flexible work hours to meet the needs of the district and department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Demonstrates management skills to ensure effective, equitable, and compliant operations of early learning programs. (25%) Manages resources aligned to program outcomes; applies professional judgment in selecting high-quality instructional materials. Collaborates with leaders to develop and manage budgets; ensures equitable and effective use of district, department, and grant resources. Identifies and administers grant opportunities; makes budget recommendations aligned with program needs. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local policies, regulations, and Board policies. Supports implementation of ECFE, VPK and preschool summer programs. Applies equitable decision-making; analyzes scholar achievement data to inform program improvements. Remains current with research and trends in curriculum, instruction, assessment, and digital learning. Identifies and addresses staff professional learning needs through assessment tools and aligned opportunities. Leads collaborative projects across departments and external agencies; acts as primary liaison with district sites and early learning programs; integrates technology to enhance scholar and adult learning.
