Communications SpecialistAccurate Courier Services is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Communications Specialist to join our Cincinnati team. We have openings due to continued growth at our National Customer Communication Department.We specialize in medical courier services, supporting healthcare organizations with deliveries that are often time-sensitive and critical. Our Communications team serves as the central point connecting our clients, drivers, and Operations teams to help ensure deliveries are entered correctly, monitored closely, and completed successfully.This role combines three key functions: customer communication, quality assurance, and dispatch coordination.Team members are cross-trained across all three areas and work together to identify potential issues, communicate effectively, and keep service moving. This is a fast-paced position for someone who can manage multiple priorities, pay attention to details, think through problems, and stay calm when circumstances change quickly.What You'll DoAnswer incoming client and driver calls, enter orders, and provide delivery updatesReview and process routed and on-demand delivery ordersComplete Quality Assurance checks to identify missing, incorrect, or incomplete informationMonitor active routes and deliveries for delays, missed stops, or potential service issuesAssign and coordinate on-demand orders with drivers based on location, availability, timing, and delivery requirementsCommunicate directly with drivers regarding assignments, pickups, deliveries, delays, and service issuesIdentify potential problems early and take appropriate action to help keep deliveries on trackInvestigate delivery issues and gather the information needed to resolve themCoordinate with Operations and other team members when additional support or escalation is neededHandle client concerns professionally and escalate issues when appropriateAssist with service recovery when a delivery does not go as plannedMaintain accurate documentation of customer, driver, order, and delivery informationFollow established procedures while using good judgment when unexpected situations ariseCommunicate clearly and professionally with clients, drivers, coworkers, and Operations teamsWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or GEDAt least 1 year of customer service, dispatch, logistics, call center, or similar experience preferredStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and manage multiple priorities at onceAbility to problem-solve and make decisions in real timeComfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quicklyComfortable using computers and learning new software and systemsBasic Microsoft Excel knowledgeDependable with consistent attendance and punctualityComfortable working independently and as part of a teamWillingness to work overtime when neededPrevious medical courier or dispatch experience is helpful, but not required. We're looking for people who are dependable, curious, willing to learn, and capable of using good judgment.ScheduleThis is a full-time, on-site position at our Cincinnati location and is not remote.Available shifts may include:2:00 PM–10:00 PM10:00 PM–6:00 AM6:00 AM-2:00 PMSchedules may vary based on department needs.Weekend availability is required. Candidates must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays as scheduled. (usually every other weekend)Pay$17.00–$20.00 per hourStarting pay will be based on experience, qualifications, shift, and responsibilities.What Makes Someone Successful HereThe best fit for this position is someone who can keep track of a lot of moving pieces without losing the details.
