Operational Excellence Manager

About the Company Piramal Pharma Solutions is a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) offering end‑to‑end development and manufacturing solutions across the drug life cycle. It serves clients worldwide through a globally integrated network of facilities in North America, Europe, and Asia. Operational Excellence Manager The primary objective of this role is to drive implementation of process improvement initiatives across the site to enhance operational efficiency and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The role holder is responsible for the smooth deployment of the OE program, including the Daily Management System (DMS), guided by the global OE framework. Responsibilities Deploy and oversee the OE program across assigned sites/functions in accordance with the corporate OE plan. Manage cross‑functional business initiatives in project mode using analytical techniques. Facilitate strategy deployment toward Zero Defects, Zero Deterrents, Zero Harm, and Zero Waste. Drive financial savings and KPI targets by coaching teams and presenting project status and financial results. Lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives, including White, Yellow, and Green Belt training and certification governance. Drive the deployment of the DMS program, define roll‑out strategy, and ensure team capability through training and coaching. Conduct data analytics and diagnostics to identify improvement opportunities in processes. Lead thematic improvement projects to enhance Productivity, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Safety. Organize Kaizen events and KPI competitions, and manage horizontal deployment of OE best practices. Skills and Competencies Strong communication and stakeholder relationship building skills. High level of ownership, accountability, action orientation, and results‑driven mindset. Excellent analytical skills with command over MS Excel, PowerPoint, data analytics, and Minitab. Knowledge of Industry4.0 concepts. Ability to organize work, prioritize by impact, and plan effectively. Proficiency in Lean, Theory of Constraints, and Six Sigma tools and methodology. Experience facilitating Lean Six Sigma and DMS deployment, including training and certification processes. Education & Qualifications B.E./B.Tech in Industrial, Production, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering from a premier institute. Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Certifications in TPM, Manufacturing Excellence, or Business Excellence are desirable. Experience 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in operational or business excellence at a manufacturing location, corporate setting, or consulting firm. Hands‑on experience leading and implementing excellence models and Daily Management Systems.
