About Bermel Vision & Aesthetics Bermel Vision & Aesthetics is a growing, patient-first optometry and aesthetics practice with three convenient locations in Leesburg, Gainesville, and Fairfax, VA. We combine advanced eye care (dry eye treatments with IPL & LipiFlow, myopia management, pediatric vision, specialty contacts, etc.) with modern aesthetic services (chemical peels, TriLift, radiofrequency skin tightening, and laser therapies). Our goal is to help patients see clearer and feel more confident. We’re expanding and need an energetic marketing professional to help us grow through targeted community outreach and digital promotion. Position Overview This hybrid role is ideal for a marketing-savvy individual with sales experience (or strong sales aptitude) who enjoys being out in the community, interacting with people, and directly driving new patient growth. You will lead hands-on vision screening events — including regular pop-ups at local gyms like LA Fitness and Crunch Fitness — while creating engaging social media content and executing broader marketing strategies. Key Responsibilities

• Lead Gym & Community Vision Screenings: Regularly organize and conduct free vision screening events at gyms such as LA Fitness and Crunch Fitness, as well as health fairs, corporate wellness programs, schools, and other community venues. Set up professional screening stations, educate participants on eye health and our services, and convert interested individuals into new patients for both vision and aesthetic treatments.
• Patient Growth & Outreach: Develop and execute creative marketing plans and partnerships to increase brand visibility and attract new patients. Build relationships with local businesses, gyms, and organizations to secure ongoing screening opportunities.
• Social Media Content Production: Create compelling, on-brand content (photos, short videos, Reels, patient stories, and educational posts) that showcases gym screening events, before/after results (HIPAA-compliant), team expertise, and tips on vision health and aesthetics. Help manage posting schedules and audience engagement across Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms.
• Campaign Management & Analytics: Track the success of outreach events and digital campaigns (new patient leads, appointment bookings, ROI) and continuously optimize strategies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our clinical team to ensure smooth event execution and consistent messaging.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in marketing, sales, business development, event coordination, or community outreach (healthcare, fitness, wellness, or retail experience is a strong plus).
• Outgoing, personable, and comfortable presenting and interacting with the public in busy environments like gyms.
• Creative with social media content creation (Canva, CapCut, Reels, basic photography/video editing preferred).
• Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local events.
• Passion for health, wellness, and helping people is highly valued — full training on vision screenings and services will be provided.
