Pre-Op Senior Registered Nurse
MLR is seeking a full-time, permanent, direct-hire Senior Registered Nurse for Pre-Op Services to join a premier healthcare team near Redondo Beach, CA!
Key Responsibilities for the Pre-Op Senior Registered Nurse:
- Provide expert nursing care to patients in the pre-operative phase, ensuring a smooth and safe transition to surgery.
- Coordinate with surgical teams, anesthesia staff, and other healthcare professionals to prepare patients for procedures.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments, review patient history, and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal surgical readiness.
- Educate patients and families on pre-op protocols and address questions to promote comfort and understanding.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all hospital and regulatory policies.
- Mentor and support junior nursing staff in clinical practice and professional development.
Schedule:
- Full-Time, Day Shifts
- MondayFriday with potential weekend or on-call hours as needed.
Pre-Op Senior Registered Nurse Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in pre-op, PACU, or surgical settings.
- BSN preferred; ASN required.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
